I am a freelance cinematographer with numerous short film credits, working for clients including UK Film Council and the BBC, and recently photographed a documentary in Spain.
I have extensive experience across a wide range of equipment, ranging from micro-budget independent DV shoots through to high end HDCAM productions alongside Panavision. I have worked in many diverse shooting environments, ranging from WW1 trenches and Spanish bullrings to complex interior lighting setups. My experience as a director of both fictional drama and documentary, alongside directing photography, gives me the ability to focus intensely on visual storytelling from both an aesthetic and emotional perspective. 5 years editing knowledge enable me to smoothly take a project from pre-prod through to the final grade.
I have won a variety of awards and currently have 3 films on the International Festival circuit, one backed by the British Council, and another a European Showcase film for Sony.
