Andreas Hafele won the Cannes Young Directors Award in 2006 for his commercial "The Sound of Music". Also a winner of the Kodak Student Award for Best Commercial UK, he was recently featured in Creative Review's talent publication as one of the "Creative Futures in Commercials Direction".
Andreas states: "In my films I try to portray a world that is shifted, maybe even a little twisted, that can be illustrated by simple and memorable imagery that has a geometric approach in visual composition. I believe funny, abstract and slightly weird films help people to not only remember the commercial, but the product as well."
His mobisode Dog & Bone illustrates an inventive story with a universal visual approach, in accord with BenQ-Siemens’ tradition of innovative mobile content, to produce a fresh short film project that fully explores this emerging new platform.
