Digital Animation from Japan On Friday, August 21, the Bitfilm Festival will organise an evening with animated shorts from Japan. It will take place at the 3001 cinema in Hamburg, in cooperation with onedotzero and the Japan Foundation. The Japanese word Otaku stands for extreme fans, especially of Anime, Manga, computer games and Science Fiction. This film programme consists of four compilations of computer animations, motion graphics, music videos and game intros from Japan.
