The MTV demographic demands of us to be Canadian, relevant, unique and to surprise them at all times. Part of our mandate is to continuously evolve and change the brand - like a living being. We took this a step further and populated the channel with lively characters – The Fauna. Internationally-acclaimed illustrator and designer Nathan Jurevicius designed 15 characters, which were set in motion entirely in-house.
The MTV Fauna brought fun and energy into MTV’s summer and captured every day moments in a unique and credible way.
The Campaign was a global success and has been picked up by a variety of MTV Channels across the globe. 3 of the characters were manufactured as designer toys and sold online and in stores. All of the characters are hosted on mtv.ca
