In February 2005,The Barros Melo Animation Studio was formed with the purpose of bringing together a team of competent and creative professionals to assist in the promotion of animation from the State of Pernambuco both within Brazil and internationally by renowned film festivals and publications.In figures,the success of our productions can be evaluated by over 50 prizes awarded in national festivals-including well known events such as Anima Mundi and the Rio and Gramado Festivals-together with over 180 exhibitions in countries including Spain,England,Canada,Japan,Cuba and United States.The Barros Melo Animation Studio produces 2D and 3D animated films for cinema and television,as well as post-production artwork for audiovisual projects.
