Diego Alvarez is a young Colombian filmmaker. His works has been nominated to festival such Bitfilm Festival, Seul International Cartoon and Animation Festival, Stuttgart, Animamundi, Sundance and Annecy. In 2004 all his works was special screened in XVI Rencontres Cinmas d'Amrique Latine de Toulouse France. In 2005 Diego Alvarez made his first music video: Relax Yourself. Relax Yourself was Official Selection at Annecy 2006, 2005 Bitfilm Festival, 2005 Montreal Short Film Festival and VAD 2005 in Spain. Elevated Sex (2007) is his last work at date. In 2006 Diego Alvarez was one of the selected to the prestigious Berlinale Talent Campus in Germany. His brother Carlos Alvarez is the co-producer, 3D artist and assistant director of all his works.
