After his studies, Marc-Olivier Louveau worked in radio, theatre, and as a copywriter in advertising. His writing techniques made for a natural entry into screenplays pour television and cinema for twelve years now.
He has written books for young adults, notably a series of Asian tales. Expert in Viet Vu Dao, a Vietnamese martial art, he created his own school in 1996. A documentary project on the Vietnamese martial arts, “Les Fils du Vent (Sons of the Wind)”, allowed him to combine his two passions: cinema and Asia. While preparing a short film in 2002, a Master of calligraphy gave him his pseudonym Lou Ma Ho (he who spreads the words of Confucius in the Occident).
In 2005, he directs “L’Eveil du Moine (A Monk’s Awakening)”,
a film which received numerous awards and was selected
at film festivals worldwide. Actually he works at the production
of his lenght feature "Red River".
