I am a broadcast designer in the age of Information Saturation. I am on this planet for one reason. Well, maybe a handful of reasons, but the main one is to get people to think. People don't use their brains all that much anymore. And if they do, they don't use nearly enough of it (myself included). So my work... some of it is commercial. That is what pays the bills. But I really enjoy making personal work that makes you think. So you'll see more and more of that as I move along in life...
