Petenera - A Flamenco Drama in Music & Dance is a live multi-camera relay of a unique stage performance given on August 22nd, 2004 at the Kendall Jackson Theater, California. It recreates the legendary and bewitching "femme fatale" Petenera who has haunted flamenco lore for centuries. It seeks to portray her loneliness and to evoke compassion for a woman feared, envied and admired by all of Spain's Andalusians but understood by none.
