Fascinating in its formal approach, this image thriller dares to venture into a strong, international, artistic field – and it holds its ground, even asserting itself against geniuses of the graphic novel such as Neil Gaiman.

And we were also impressed by how Berlin features as metropolis in such a laconic and self-evident way, how a comic film initiates a heroic saga, in a completely contemporary way.
