SERIAL WRITER is a desktop interactive movie developed in a Digital Interactive Movie Making Workshop organised by SAGAS and held by Chris Hales. A writer who can't write stares people from the window and develop contradictory thoughts that may lead to different actions. Choosing her thoughts, THE USER will determine whether she will become a serial killer or if she will be able to write again, taking the story to one of the two distinct ends. All the scenes in the middle appear randomized, allowing a different experience everytime it is played. Originally created with Macromedia Director using QuickTime video, Serial Writer was entirely converted to Flash to allow web screening.
